Not every accomplished singer is a good teacher. Sinchana Murthy is both. Her teaching style is rigorous but also makes learning enjoyable – a difficult balance to achieve. Sinchana Murthy is also the consummate professional. In two years as her student (on person and now online) she has never been unprepared for a class, or given me anything less than her full attention. The highlight of my time with her so far, is a concert she organised for all her students. Thanks to her incredible energy and training, we outdid ourselves in the presence of maestros.
