“Where words fail, music begins.”
“Music is an amusing poetry.”

From Hindustani vocal to Bhavageete, to Ghazal and Sugam Sangeet, the versatility in Sinchana’s voice is a gift of nature. Her sensibility, understanding and her open mind to experiment with dancers, understanding their requirement to produce the right mood and sanchari, introduced me to her talent and sensitivity.

Her sensibility in understanding the word to mood, mood to mood, word to word and the abstract expression in dance is due to her talent in dance too.

I have some pleasant memories of composing music for Kathak like taranas and some bandishes for NrityaDarpan, my academy in Bangalore. Her interpretations of Radha, Kunti, Draupadi and Jijabai is as amusing to me as they are to her. But, her inference that women made choices to deal with the situations and also to uphold their individuality explains her maturity, and in depth research in her approach to art and her dream to start “Shree Music School”.

She is conducting Bhajan, Bhakti geete and Shloka classes, in coordination with yoga and pranayama. Her scientific approach is equally effective and promotes a long term in depth foundation and nurturing of music for music lovers and learners.

It’s heartening to know her dream and mission to spread music in a holistic way through her institution, “Shree Music”, through the programs “Saantvana – Music Therapy”, “Sinchana – A platform to develop and appreciate Indian Music”, “Saadhana – Learn and explore Indian music”, “Spandhana – an outreach through music”; makes us feel proud of her and happy.

Sinchana hails from Shimoga, a cultural capital of Karnataka. After coming to Bangalore, she continued to spread and develop the joy of Indian music, making a mark in the Hindustani Music Circle.

We wish her lots of good luck in her mission and journey. May her divine voice give the joy and healing to learners, connoisseurs, listeners, promoters and artists of all genres. May her extraordinary talent give her a lot of success and her noble cause be achieved through Sri Music.

Thanking You
Lots of Love and Luck for your endeavours
